Completes her undergraduate music studies at Ferris Girls' University. Student of Koji Uno, Takashi Koizumi, and Kazuo Yukawa.
June 1979:
Travels to France to attend the Nice International Summer Academy, studying under A. Marion, A. Adorjan, and M. Larrieu. Enters the Municipal Conservatory of the 10th arrondissement of Paris to study flute with Mme I. Ribera.
April 1980:
Graduates from the Conservatory with a First Prize.
November 1981:
Wins the unanimous First Prize at the Conservatoire National Régional de St. Maur in France in the flute class (Excellence level). Studies under Mme I. Ribera, M. R. Guiot, and M. R. Hériché.
March 1982:
Wins First Prize at the Paris UFAM International Competition (flute category) and also receives a prize at the Léopold Bellan International Competition. Attends the master class of A. Nicolet at the Avignon International Summer Academy.
January 1983:
Makes her Japanese debut at Aoyama Tower Hall.
September 1984:
Makes a highly acclaimed debut at the Église St-Marry in Paris.
October 1984 and 1985:
Performs in the first and second recitals organized by the Cité Internationale des Arts of Paris (4th arrondissement).
April 1985:
Performs with Vicens PRATS-PARIS for the Concert marking the 300th anniversary of Bach at Montparnasse, Paris.
May 1986:
Gives a recital in the Marais district of Paris at the request of the Ministry of Culture (under Jack Lang). Performs at the Music Festival on the Isle of Corfu, Greece.
1986–1988:
Appointed head of the Suzuki Method Flute Class at the Rachmaninoff Conservatory in the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
May 1989:
Performs with her teacher, the late R. Hériché, at the Spring Festival of l'Isle-Adam, France.
December 1990:
Gives her fourth recital in the small hall of the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo.
March 1991:
Participates in the "Flute and Harpsichord" recital organized under the patronage of the Japanese Embassy in France.
December 1991:
Performs with the New Municipal Philharmonic Orchestra. Gives her fifth recital in Japan, in Tokyo and Mito.
September 1992:
Participates in the "Flute and Harp" recital under the auspices of the Japanese Embassy in France. Gives her sixth recital in the small hall of the Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo.
1993:
Returns to Japan and participates in various projects, recitals, chamber music concerts, and radio programs in both Japan and Europe.
May 1994:
Performs for the Nakano Foundation for the Promotion of Sports and Culture and at the "May Flute Festival" organized by the city of Ogosé.
15 July 1994 and 1995:
Participates for the first time in a classical and jazz event titled "14 July: An Evening of Songs", which has since become an annual event.
February 1995:
Participates in the "Songs for Flute" festival organized under the patronage of the Japanese Embassy in France, dedicated to Japanese folk songs. Invited again in April 1996.
October 1995:
Duo recital "Retrouvailles" with Vicens PRATS-PARIS (principal flutist of the Paris National Philharmonic Orchestra).
December 1995:
Participates in the "Joyeux Noël 1995" evening organized by the Katsushika district Foundation.
May 1997:
Second duo recital "Retrouvailles" with Vicens PRATS-PARIS.
June 1997:
Performs at the dinner-concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Prince Hotel in Shinjuku.
Since 1994:
Glowing reviews have earned her invitations to a second dinner-concert and a series of programs dedicated to classical music, folk songs, and popular music.
August 1997:
Performs as a guest in the Chanter hall in the Hibiya district of Tokyo at a Latin music concert (bossa nova and tangos) titled "Light, Wind and Sea". (Invited again in August 1998 for a similar event titled "L'Amour et La Passion".)
December 1997:
Performs at the third Christmas dinner-concert organized by the Prince Hotel in Shinjuku.
15 January 1998:
Flute Recital [15th anniversary of her career] with Piano: Mr Kazuoki FUJII, at TSUDA-HALL in Tokyo, Japan.
1998:
First CD recording in Paris 16th [French Music – Light, Wind and Colour] with Piano: Mr Jean-Yves AIZIC.
