To commemorate the 60th anniversary of the death of Francis Poulenc.(1899-1963) Group of six;
The group of Six, also called Les Six, is a group of composers bringing together, between 1916 and 1923:
Georges Auric (1899-1983), Louis Durey (1888-1979), Arthur Honegger (1892-1955), Darius Milhaud (1892-1974), Francis Poulenc (1899-1963), and Germaine Tailleferre (1892-1983).
There he met avant-garde poets, such as Jean Cocteau, Guillaume Apollinaire, Max Jacob, Paul Éluard, Paul Claudel, André Messager, many of whose texts he put to music.
